Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old, he will not depart from it. — Proverbs 22:6 (ESV)
Hello,
a bit about me:
When I was 18 years old, I started my childcare journey. Much like the rest of the young 18-year-olds, a little lost and confused at the time with little to no direction. After many babysitting gigs and chaotic drop-off centers, I suddenly opened my eyes to the vast possibilities and began to delve into the domains of development, the many theorists who support and guide fellow educators/young child-development advocates, and the many different teaching styles. Over the past decade I’ve had incredible experience amongst different daycare centers and preschools with vast classroom climates and environments.
This only fed my passion for Childhood Development, of which led to many countless hours spent in the library preparing for projects, papers, or assignments; Along with many internships and practicum hours. I graduated in May of 2020 with my Associates of Applied Science in Childhood Development, followed by having my own son in December of 2020. My dreams were suddenly becoming my reality. Just a little bit closer.
Throughout my school years, I had the amazing autonomy of working with young children one on one as a nanny for many years, and with such unique and incredible family structures, systems, and cultures; With all different age ranges, from infants-toddlers or preschoolers and then the age that really grew on me, after-schoolers. The simple joys and warmth that being able to positively influence, guide, and impact children brings me on a day-to-day basis, is pure bliss. I am now driven by our Lords Grace, my motherly passions, and my child development loving mind to at least make an impact on one child’s life.
I’ve recently began independently-freelancing my nanny services to short time needs, back up care, or different situations. If you’re needing someone last minute, for a couple of days or a few hours, please don’t hesitate to reach out and check my availability.

I have a 7 and 9 year old and 9 month old infant and she is able to connect with each of them and respond to their individual needs as well as together. Her communication skills between me and our children is top notch and she is always willing to be available to our needs. I highly recommend Peyton for your families!"

“Peyton is an amazing babysitter. I have a 5 month old who usually stays with family when I have to leave him. Recently I had a work trip and no one was available to watch him. I found Peyton and she was able to pick him up! She followed all of my guidelines for breast milk, she never did something without approving it through me first.”
